What’s a Letter of Medical Necessity, and do I need one?
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) is a note from your healthcare provider confirming that your purchase, like Pop On Veneers, is intended to treat or manage a specific medical condition. This letter is often required by the IRS when using HSA or FSA funds to ensure the expense is eligible.
To make this process simple, Pop On Veneers partners with Flex. After completing your purchase using the “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” option, you’ll participate in a quick telehealth evaluation. Within 24 hours, Flex will email you an itemized receipt and your Letter of Medical Necessity.
It’s important to keep this letter for at least three years in case it’s requested by your FSA provider or the IRS during audits or reimbursement claims. The LOMN ensures your purchase is properly documented and fully compliant with HSA/FSA requirements.
I didn’t get an email from Flex with my itemized receipt and/or Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) —how can I get it?
First, check your spam or junk folder—emails from notifications@withflex.com sometimes get filtered there. If you still don’t see it, simply email support@withflex.com and include the email address you used for your order. They’ll be happy to assist you!
What if the date on my Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) doesn’t match my receipt?
This might be a time zone issue. Email us at team@poponveneers.com and we’ll work with Flex to correct the date and send you an updated letter.
What should I do if my name or date of birth is incorrect on my Letter of Medical Necessity?
Please email Flex at support@withflex.com. They will reach out to their telehealth team to update and send you a corrected Letter of Medical Necessity.
How do I include additional details on my Letter of Medical Necessity for FSA approval?

What if my purchase receipt number doesn't match the number on my FSA charge?
